The School

Learn to play polo, no experience required! If you can sit on a horse, you can learn to play polo. Our nationally recognized polo school—Chicago’s only—makes it easy to get started. We provide the horses, equipment, and instruction.

Originally founded in the late 1980s as the Lakewood Polo Club by former players from the Chicago Avenue Armory, the Barrington Hills Polo Club offers both grass and arena polo so members can play year-round. From first-timers to seasoned players, everyone has a place here. Enjoy competitive polo in a relaxed, welcoming environment built around community and horsemanship.
